Who Are Reading FC Women?
Reading FC Women, proudly affiliated with Reading Football Club, have a rich and inspiring history within the Women’s Football Pyramid. Formed in 2006, the team rose through the divisions and won promotion to the FA Women’s Super League in 2015 – the top tier of English women’s football.
Following a period of transition, the club is now in the next chapter playing in the Southern Region Women’s Football League Premier Division (Tier 5). Our focus is long-term growth, performance and sustainability – on and off the pitch.
Beyond the First Team, Reading FC Women play a vital role in the local community, providing football opportunities for hundreds of players through our Emerging Talent Centres, Academy, Development Programmes, Soccer Camps and After School Clubs.
Everything we do is guided by four core club values: Ambition, Commitment, Community and Friendship. These principles sit at the heart of every partnership we build.
