At this stage of development, football becomes more purposeful. Our programme is built on a methodologically sound syllabus that follows age-appropriate principles of long-term player development. Each session is carefully planned to ensure players are stretched, supported and challenged in ways that are both enjoyable and psychologically safe.
Our U14 trials are accepting players eligible for both U13 and U14 age groups. If successful, trials for the U14 age group will be on Tuesday 12th May and Tuesday 19th May.
Our U16 trials are accepting players eligible for both U15 and U16 age groups) If successful, trails for U16 age group will be on Thursday 14th May and Thursday 21st May.

Sunday 19th April 2026
Football, family and fundraising come together this spring as Reading FC Women host a special Community Day at our home, Arbour Park.
Taking place on Sunday 19th April, this exciting event promises far more than just 90 minutes of football with a packed schedule of activities, entertainment and a strong charitable focus, it’s shaping up to be a standout day for fans, families and the wider local community.

One of the best parts of the day? It’s incredibly affordable.
In a time where the cost of live sport continues to rise, Reading FC Women are keeping football accessible for everyone:
It’s a fantastic opportunity for families to enjoy live football together without breaking the bank, whether you’re introducing young fans to the game for the first time or simply looking for a great-value day out, our ticket costs makes it easy to get involved in every game, not just our Community Day!
A Local Game with a Big Purpose
At the heart of the day is an important fixture as Reading take on Woodley United FC, with a 2pm kick-off.
The entire event is dedicated to raising funds for Breast Cancer Now, supporting vital research and care for those affected by breast cancer. It’s a powerful reminder of how football can bring people together for a cause that truly matters.
More Than Just Football
Whether you’re a die-hard Royal or simply looking for a great day out, there’s something for everyone:

One of the standout moments of the day is the exclusive signing session with the Reading FC Women’s First Team. Join us from 12:00pm – 12:45pm in the Arbour Park Boardroom.
Our loyal Royals will have the chance to meet their heroes, grab autographs and take photos, a brilliant opportunity for young supporters to get up close to the players they look up to.
Bringing the Community Together
Events like this highlight the growing impact of women’s football not just on the pitch, but within the football community. Reading FC Women continue to build strong connections locally, using the game as a platform to inspire, engage and give back.
From grassroots players to lifelong fans, our Community Day is about celebrating football in its most inclusive and meaningful form.
