    What league do Reading play in?

    Reading play in the Premier Division of the Southern Region Women’s Football League. This is Tier 5 of the Women’s Football Pyramid.

    What day do Reading play matches?

    League matches are played on Sundays at 2pm. This may be subject to change depending on the competition.

    Are Reading playing in any cups?

    Yes, Reading will feature in the Berks & Bucks Women’s Senior Cup, the Adobe Women’s FA Cup and the Combined Counties Football League Women’s Cup.

    Where do Reading play their home games?

    Arbour Park, the home of Slough Town FC. Arbour Park is located to the north of Slough town centre.

    Yes, the Rebels bar is open on a match day. On the odd occasion it isn’t, then the upstairs bar is.

    Which turnstiles are open? What time do they open?

     It isn’t always the same turnstile that is open… but it opens an hour before KO.

    Is Arbour Park accessibility-friendly?

    There are wheelchair bays at the top of the West Stand, and an elevator allowing access to the bar area and top of the stand, accessed via the front entrance. Assistance dogs are allowed – please call in advance so adequate provision can be made.

    How do I get to Arbour Park?

    Via car

    The postcode to use for navigation devices is SL2 5AY.

    From the M4: Exit at Junction 5 (signposted Colnbrook/Datchet/Langley) and head west on London Road (A4). Pass the Sainsbury’s Superstore on your right hand side and drive straight over the roundabout, continuing on London Road. Pass the Tesco Slough Extra store and then the turning to Slough Rail station on your right and at the next junction, turn right onto Stoke Road (B416). Continue along Stoke Road for 0.7 miles, going straight ahead at the crossroads with Shaggy Calf Lane and Elliman Avenue (following the signpost to Slough Cemetery & Crematorium, Wexham Park Hospital and Stoke Poges). The entrance to Arbour Park is a few hundred yards further on the right hand side.

    From the M25 (north): Exit at Junction 16 and join the M40 to Uxbridge/London (West). At Junction 1, exit and follow signs to Slough/A412/Uxbridge/A4020. At the roundabout, exit onto Denham Road (A412). Continue over two roundabouts and at the ‘Five Points’ roundabout (with the Crooked Billet pub/restaurant), take the third exit and continue on Uxbridge Road (A412). Continue at the first set of lights, and at the second turn right onto Church Lane. Continue over two roundabouts, passing The South Buckinghamshire Golf Club and then Slough Cemetery & Crematorium on your right hand side. Continue over one more mini-roundabout and the entrance to Arbour Park will be on your left hand side.

    From the M25 (south): Exit at Junction 15 (signposted Reading/Slough) onto the M4. Exit the M4 at Junction 5 (signposted Colnbrook/Datchet/Langley). Head west on London Road (A4). Pass the Sainsbury’s Superstore on your right hand side and drive straight over the roundabout, continuing on London Road. Pass the Tesco Slough Extra store and then the turning to Slough Rail station on your right and at the next junction, turn right onto Stoke Road (B416).     From the M40: Exit at Junction 2 (Beaconsfield) and travel on the A355 towards Slough. Take a left turn onto Parish Lane and follow it to the end, where you will turn right onto Windsor Road (B416). At the next roundabout, take the second exit. You will pass The South Buckinghamshire Golf Club and then Slough Cemetery & Crematorium on your right hand side. Continue over one more mini-roundabout and the entrance to Arbour Park will be on your left hand side.

    Via public transport

    The ground is approximately a 10-15 minute walk from Slough Station and accessible by public transport. Trains run directly between Reading and Slough and are roughly a 20 minute journey.

    Lucy Bolitho

    Our 2024/25 ‘Player of the Season’ returns once more with 8 goals in 20 appearances last season, she’ll be looking to deliver in front of goal once again.

    Poppy Airey

    A calm head and a commanding presence, Poppy returns for the Royals.

    “Proud to be back for another season with this club. The group’s coming together really well, the energy’s high, and the focus is clear. Looking forward to the challenges ahead and what we can achieve as a team.”

    Assia…dynamic, determined and ready to go again! Welcome back to the Royals!

  • Jazz King signs for the Royals!

    Jazz King signs for the Royals!

    Reading FC Women are pleased to announce the signing of Jazz King, who joins the Royals ahead of the 2025/26 season.

    We welcome the midfielder having previously been under Ed’s guidance at Maidenhead United, initially in the development squad before making her first team debut in a 3-0 defeat away over Bridgwater in December 2024/25 season.

    “I’m really excited to be signing and getting started here at Reading. It’s a great club with a clear vision and goals to achieve and a great support network to do so. I’m really looking forward to getting started in what should be a good competitive season!” – Jazz King

    Jazz formerly played for Brentford, plying her trade in the London & South East Regional Football Club, having been a proven goalscorer for the West London side.

    Aleasha Lunn signs for the Royals!

    Reading FC Women are pleased to announce the signing of Aleasha Lunn, who joins the Royals ahead of the 2025/26 season.

    We welcome the midfielder having previously been under Ed’s guidance at Maidenhead United after signing for the Magpies in the 2023/24 season.

    “I am very greatful to be a Royal as it is my home club! The ambition going forwards is very exciting and I am happy to be under the management of Ed & Max once again. I personally can’t wait to be back out playing after being out on an injury the past season. Hopefully I can be back scoring goals and celebrating the small wins with the team! Up the Ding!” – Aleasha Lunn

    Aleasha is a former Oxford United player, with a corner kick to marvel over, having made her first team debut for the O’s in December 2021. Her National League experience will be of real value to the Royals.

    Sarah Thompson signs for the Royals!

    Reading FC Women are pleased to announce the signing of Sarah Thompson, who joins the Royals ahead of the 2025/26 season.

    We welcome the defender having previously been under Ed’s guidance at Maidenhead United, she captained the side to their Berks & Bucks Senior Cup win in March 2025.

    “I’m buzzing to be returning to my childhood club, one that I have supported since I was a young girl and was fortunate enough to play for in my teens. The team is gelling well together over pre season and I can’t wait for the league to get started. Up The Ding!” – Sarah Thompson

    Sarah was a stalwart at Maidenhead United, having joined them in 2019. She’s no stranger to the Royals however, having played in the Academy from 2011 to 2014 before heading off to university and returning back to Berkshire where she spent the 2018/19 season with Woodley United.
