We’ll kick off our pre-season campaign with a trip to Sutton United Women. The Royals will head to the David Weir Leisure Centre in Carshalton (SM5 SL1) on Sunday 12th of July for a 14:30 kick off.

Who are Sutton United Women?

Sutton United, nicknamed the U’s, were established as a ladies team at the club in 2017, subsequently winning the Greater London Women’s Football League Division Two in their inaugural season.

Having been promoted, they went on to secure the Greater London Women’s Football League Division One title the following season.

They were then promoted to the London & South East Regional Women’s League Division One North and again were promoted where they have now plied their trade in the Premier Division of the London & South East Regional Women’s Football League for 5 seasons, the equivalent Tier 5 division to the Royals.

The side are managed by Lucy Clark, who is assisted by David Kingston.

Sutton United Women’s 2025/26 season

A fourth place finish for the side saw them play 22 league games, securing 11 wins, 5 draws and 6 losses.

A successful Adobe Women’s FA Cup run ended in the Third Round with a 3-0 loss to Tier 4 side Chatham Town. They were also on the right side of a penalty shootout against Brentford in the First Round Proper after Brentford had dispatched *checks notes* us in the Third Round Qualifying.

We look forward to seeing old faces and new as we kick off our preparations for the 2026/27 season.
